Current Third Day Beef “Live Weight” pricing is as follows:

Full Steer: $1.98/lb. at Live Weight
Half Steer: $2.15/lb. at Live Weight
Half of a Half Steer: $2.29/lb. at Live Weight

Each steer will be processed once sold and weighing in the “Target Weight” zone. Once 100% sold (one full steer purchase or a combination of multiple purchasers equaling 100% ownership) the steer will be considered “sold” and will be sent for processing when weighing in between 1250 – 1400 lbs. We currently have steers ready for immediate harvest.

To secure a full or partial interest in a steer, a non-refundable deposit is required.

What does the “Live Weight” price include?
The “Live Weight” pricing includes all of the value and guarantee of the Third Day Beef product, as well and the processing and packaging fees. Here is a quick summary of what you will receive for the stated “Live Weight” price per pound:

• The purchased share of a Third Day Beef steer (100%, 50% or 25%)
• 100% Third Day Beef 30-Day Satisfaction Guarantee
• All Custom processing charges
• Vacuum packaged individually (at your preference)
• Flash frozen
• Boxed and waiting for your pick-up at Third Day Ranch

What services are available at an additional cost?
• Any applicable sales taxes are additional
• Home delivery is available at an additional cost
• Seasoned Beef is available for an additional $ .99 /lb.
• Summer Sausage is available for an additional $ 5.95/lb.
• Slim Jim Sausage Sticks are available for an addl. $ 5.95/lb.
• Variety of Smoked Sausages (Jalapeño, Cheese, Chorizo, etc.) available for an addl. $ 2.90/lb.
• Beef Jerky $ 7.95/lb.
• Pre-Marinated Beef (Fajita meat, Steaks, etc.) for an addl. $ .99/lb.
• All of the sausage prices quoted above include 50% Pork in this price.

How does the “Live Weight” compare to the price I pay at the grocery store per pound?

Third Day Beef prices will vary based on actual weights and can average prices different than those posted here. Typically our steers will price somewhere between $ 5.50 and $6.50/lb. The average American consumes 64 lbs. of beef a year making a full steer perfect for feeding a family of 4 for a year.

What if I want the Full Steer Price but can only purchase half of the steer?
Our ordering system allows for up to four (4) owners of a steer when processing your order. All you have to do is call or email us with the names of each “owner/shareholder” and we will process your order at the Full Steer price. We do not reduce the price per steer after an order has been placed and in the system for 48 hours.
